Much is still on the drawing board or in the design phase, but the aim is to support at least 4 players in an open world map, separate from the single-player map. For me personally it's totally understandable, and I don't think they're being insidious about it. Multiplayer We’ve heard you, and we are aiming to have a specific game mode for multiplayer, without interfering with our development of single-player. My Time at Portia they finished but there's lots of warts that they couldn't patch up, which they are saying they will address in the sequel. Planet Explorers they straight up gave up on and offered people free keys to My Time at Portia, and the game also became free to play at some point. This company has a history of releasing a pretty promising game into EA, but not being able to overcome technical shortcomings of the technical foundations of their work then eventually just throwing their hands up and moving onto the next project.
